CITY ON THE VERGE

In January 2006 Kevin Allocca visited his friend and production partner Persevere's Billl Driscoll Jr. in Biloxi, MS. Together they compiled interviews and footage for a documentary that Kevin took back with him to Boston. The end result is Biloxi: City on the Verge a documentary about a group of individuals in post-Katrina Biloxi, MS, who used courage and ingenuity to jump-start the recovery effort in the face of major government failure. Colleen, a survivor of Hurricane Katrina, shares her story with us. Part 1 features Colleen's life leading up to Katrina. This clip is the start of a multi-part interview that will be showcased here in the coming weeks. Colleen's story is the first of many survivors’ stories that we will be featuring @ perseverevolunteers.org as part of an awareness initiative.
